Budget Leadership and Fiscal Prudence
2020-2021….. Tax Decrease of .1 mill/expense increase 00.4%
2021-2022….. Taxes flat (no inc/dec)/expense increase 4.14%
2022-2023….. Tax increase of 1.28 mill/expense increase 2.65%
During Mike’s leadership of the Board of Finance, he worked with both parties’ representatives to develop and present budget packages to the taxpayers that kept tax impact to a reasonable level (above), leading to all budgets passing on the first referendum, unlike the last 2 years (below)!
2024-2025….. Taxation 5.5% increase-failed at referendum
2025-2026….. Taxation 7.5% increase-failed at referendum
