Committed to Progress for Every Willington Resident

Progress looks different for each of us, but there are common interests that are shared by our fellow residents and business owners. Throughout my entire life in Willington (almost all of my 58 years), there has been wide interest in taking care of what we own, increasing tax base in a very careful manner, reducing safety risks from speeding on our roads, supporting our emergency services, including maintaining the viability of our volunteer fire and EMS services, and supporting the general feeling of community. And even a small group of our residents would be happy if we could have kept dirt roads and house phones. While I know we can’t go back to that, I respect the appeal of the “way it was.” After all, I was one of many who grew up in Willington attending kindergarten in the firehouse hall and racing soapbox derby cars on Y road. I want to hear the wishes of our residents, and will work to improve the communication into and out of the town administration.
